Smoking Cessation

Quitting smoking is one of the most important things you can do to improve your health. Tobacco use has been identified as the single most preventable cause of death in the United States (National Cancer Institute). Here are just a few of the benefits associated with quitting smoking:

Let our Smoking Cessation program can give you a fresh start as a non-smoker! We offer a research-based smoking cessation program using The American Cancer Society’s Fresh Start Program as a foundation, along with other in-depth information and experience-based exercises. The program is offered both individually or in a group setting.

Groups – The group program consists of four weekly 60-minute sessions with between 5 to 8 participants.  Our smoking cessation specialist will travel to your worksite and conduct the trainings. Everything that is shared by the participants during the group sessions will be confidential.

Individual- If you are an individual who desires to stop smoking, we can provide one-on-one coaching in person or by phone to assist.

For individuals who are actively smoking and have an honest desire to quit, the process can be effective -- whatever the long term outcome is of one who stops permanently or continues to smoke. Part of the expectation of the program is that everyone will seriously make an attempt during the process, by setting a quit date and stopping. We understand that the rate of relapse can be quite high, so no one need be shamed if they experience setbacks during the program. However, the expectations are high and the results can be phenomenal!
