WorkLife Wellness Tip of the WeekSenior Tsunami: With the recent economic events, many of us are going to be in the workforce longer than we would like, and in fact, longer than our parents were. Did you know that the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that by 2012, more than 29 percent of men ages 65-74, almost 20 percent of women and more than 8 percent of men over 75 years old will be in the labor force? If you have to remain in the workforce and feel tired, don’t have any energy and are having difficulty with stress, call and make an appointment with Wellness Coach Sam Hester, cWC, CPT, LWMC, at 713-500-3327. It's confidential and free. For more information on the wellness services provided, visit UT Counseling and WorkLife Services.
