UTHSC-Houston to Sign Cooperation Agreement
with Medical School in Monterrey, Mexico
| WHAT: | The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHSC-Houston) and Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon Facultad de Medicina y Hospital Universitario (UANL) in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, are signing a cooperation agreement. |

| WHERE: | Beth Robertson Auditorium of the Fayez S. Sarofim Research Building, 1825 Pressler near Fannin. |
| WHY: | UTHSC-Houston and UANL are joining forces to train scientists and promote research. The universities plan to carry out joint research, host visits by faculty and students of partner institutions and organize symposia, conferences, short courses and meetings on research issues. In accordance with the cooperation agreement, top UANL postdoctoral students will receive training for careers in drug development research at the UTHSC-Houston Institute of Molecular Medicine. |
