While completing the U.S. Public Health Service (PHS) Commissioned Officer annual physical fitness test, Robert Emery, Dr.P.H., assistant vice president for safety, health, environment and risk management for the UT Health Science Center at Houston, takes a breather with Acting Surgeon General Steven K. Galson, M.D., in Tucson, Ariz. Emery,  an associate professor with the UT School of Public Health and a lieutenant commander in the US PHS Reserves, was  in Arizona to make a presentation to PHS commissioned officers on a recent emergency drill conducted in Houston.
