As editor
of The Leader newspaper and News on the Go e-mail
news service for the Office of Institutional Advancement, Pam focuses
on information about university activities and accomplishments;
administrative and policy issues; faculty, staff and student
news, honors, awards, publications and presentations; community
service; calendar items; and more. Lewis is responsible
for the content, production and distribution of both publications.
She also is responsible for receiving requests for and
editing of mass e-mails. Lewis worked as a writer and editor
at The Houston Post for more than 20 years and has worked
in the Media Relations area of nstitutional Advancement since 1998
and in the Communications area (print and “e” publications)
since 2001.
