Teaching Hospitals
Our faculty are on staff at Memorial Hermann - Texas Medical Center. This partnership provides exceptional pediatric, obstetric, neurological, cardiovascular and transplant services. Memorial Hermann is a Level I Trauma Center.
Many Medical School faculty, including UTHSC-H president James T. Willerson, M.D., are part of the outstanding staff of physicians and scientists at Texas Heart Institute.
In collaboration with other area medical schools, UTHSC-H is affiliated with Memorial Hermann | TIRR, one of the nation's leading medical rehabilitation hospitals.

Children's Memorial Hermann is location within the Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center complex, the 178-bed facility offers colorful decor, special play areas and a reassuring staff, trained to help take the focus off of pain and illness. Education and support services for families are also available, as are services for international patients. This hospital treats everything from life-threatening injuries to routine medical procedures in children ranging from premature infants to 16-year-olds.
Psychiatric and clinical social services are provided to more than 5,000 children, adolescents and adults annually at the UT Harris County Psychiatric Center.
Allied with the Harris County Hospital District, our faculty provide comprehensive medical care at Lyndon B. Johnson General Hospital.
