General Accessibility Sites

WebAIM (Web Accessibility In Mind)
Should be your first source for Web Accessibility. The site not only offers links to other resources, but maintains current information regarding techniques and concepts, training, reviews of products information and discussion groups.

UseIt
A Web site maintained by usability guru Jakob Nielsen. This link points various aspects of accessibility/usability issues. This is a very informative site for all aspects of Web development from accessibility to navigation concepts.

Web XACT by Watchfire (formerly known as Bobby)
A free service that allows you to test web pages and help expose and repair barriers to accessibility and encourage compliance with existing accessibility guidelines, such as Section 508 and the W3C's WCAG.

WebAIM's free accessibility tool.

A-PROMPT
A free evaluation and repair tool for web accessible pages.  

Accessible Web Publishing Wizard for Microsoft Office
The Web Publishing Accessibility Wizard for Microsoft ® Office offers an alternative to the native Web Publishing feature in Office. The standard Web Publishing option often creates XML based web content that can only be viewed by Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Vision Impaired

Colorblind Web Page Filter
Please note that the colors it presents to you will be very accurate, but sometimes the filter will show some page elements down the page from where they would otherwise be placed. Simply disregard this if it comes up; the problem is a glitch in the filtering script, and not in your page.

Vischeck
A second colorblind filtering site - not as detailed as the other one, but it handles the 3 most frequently seen forms of colorblindness and is less likely to have problems processing CSS based web pages.

MAGPie (Media Access Generator)
An authoring tool for making Web- and CD-ROM-based multimedia materials accessible to persons with disabilities.

Hi-Caption
Hi-Caption allows users to create SAMI files for their media files for use with the Windows Media Player or for the Real Networks RealPlayer.
