Welcoming Nursing Supporters
At the annual PARTNERS Fall Coffee, University of Texas School
of Nursing at Houston Dean Patricia L. Starck, D.S.N., center,
and Thomas A. Mackey, Ph.D., associate dean for practice, chat
with hostess Cyvia Wolff. About 100 students, faculty members,
staff and supporters of the UT School of Nursing gathered Oct.
11 at the Wolff home. Since its inception in 1993, PARTNERS
has awarded 64 full scholarships to nursing students and 31
faculty research grants. In recent years the PARTNERS Endowed
Scholarship has grown to over $1 million, and last year, a PARTNERS
Endowed Professorship was added to its accomplishments.
