Polish Scientists Tour IMM Facilities

Thomas Caskey, M.D., second from left, executive vice president for molecular medicine and genetics at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, welcomes a delegation of about two dozen Polish biotechnology scientists to the Brown Foundation Institute of Molecular Medicine for the Prevention of Human Diseases (IMM) on June 16. The group, which earlier presented its research in the Texas Medical Center at a multi-institutional conference on biotechnology collaboration, toured the IMM research facilities, some of which were still under construction at the new Fayez S. Sarofim Research Building.
