Diane Guiberteau, right, trust officer for the Harry S. and Isabel C. Cameron Foundation, visits with the 2005 Cameron Foundation Fellow, Maglie Leduc. A student in The University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, Leduc is conducting research into genetic variations that may provide insight into both cardiovascular and Alzheimer's diseases. Her advisor is James Hixson, Ph.D., professor in the Human Genetics Center at the UT School of Public Health at Houston and a GSBS faculty member.
