Celebrating Million Dollar Milestone

 

American Legion Auxiliary, Department of Texas, members recently celebrated their accomplishment of raising $1 million over 10 years for students at The University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at Houston (GSBS). With GSBS Dean George Stancel, Ph.D., are Lynda Horton, left, national executive committeewoman, and Vicki Pollard, Texas state department president. Founded in 1919, the American Legion Auxiliary is the largest patriotic women's service organization in the world. The Texas membership is well over 26,000. This project is unique to Texas.
