First Hsu Scholar

 

On a recent trip from China, Margaret Hsu, left, daughter of T. C. Hsu, Ph.D., deceased faculty member from The University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at Houston, met the first T. C. Hsu Memorial Scholar, Meghan Minard, with her advisor, Gary Gallick, Ph.D. Minard is a post-candidacy graduate student who is doing colon cancer research. Margaret Hsu was a major donor to the endowment in memory of her father, who was a renowned cell biologist and one of the first to serve as faculty president of the graduate school.
