Did You Know?
Since its founding in 1962, the UT Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at Houston has graduated 1,500 students receiving Ph.D. and master's degrees in the biomedical sciences. The 500-member faculty is drawn from the UT Health Science Center at Houston, UT M. D. Anderson Cancer Center and Texas A&M University Institute of Biosciences and Technology.
Established in 1997, the UT School of Health Information Sciences at Houston is the only school in the country that offers exclusively master's and Ph.D. degrees in health informatics.
