Bertram Pitt, M.D., left, professor of medicine at the University of Michigan School of Medicine, presented the annual James T. Willerson, M.D., Lecture. With him are, from left, Martha Tyson, H. Ken Busch and Willerson, president of The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Pitt, an internationally known cardiologist and authority on congestive heart failure, spoke on "The Role of Aldosterone Blockade in Cardiovascular Disease." The Department of Internal Medicine at the UT Medical School at Houston hosts the lecture series, which was established by a gift from Martha Tyson and her late husband, John Edward Tyson, in honor of Willerson.
