Honored for Years of Community Service

The conference was hosted by The University of Texas School of Nursing at Houston’s Center on Aging, with the support of the Harris County Agency on Aging and Care for Elders. Loggins, a former member of the UT Health Science Center at Houston Development Board, was honored for his many years of community service, including the boards of the United Negro College Fund and the YMCA, the commissions for the Harris County Grand Jury and City of Houston Civil Service, and as treasurer of the Houston Community College System Foundation. He currently serves on the Metropolitan CME Church board of trustees and is chairman of the board of the Houston Citizens Chamber of Commerce.
