Walk the Talk for Healthy Lifestyle

 

Mayor Bill White and his wife, Andrea, right, join University of Texas School of Nursing at Houston Dean Patricia Starck, D.S.N., and other leaders and employees of Texas Medical Center (TMC) institutions, to announce plans for this fall’s first Walk the Texas Medical Center event. To promote healthy lifestyles among 60,000 plus health care workers, TMC institutions, in collaboration with the Mayor’s “Get Moving Houston” campaign and “Walk the Talk America,” held a Kick-Off Celebration in May at the John P.
