Annual Health Science Center Scholarship Golf Classic

Golf clubs will be swinging at the 13th Annual Health Science Center Scholarship Golf Classic benefiting students of The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston’s six schools. The golf classic will begin at 9 a.m., Monday, Sept. 26, at the Timber Creek Golf Club in Friendswood.

To help raise funds for scholarships, a silent auction will feature two Nolan Ryan jerseys from the Texas Rangers and the Houston Astros, among other items. Organizers are eager to exceed last years $60,000 fund-raising success and reach the goal of $100,000 to support the education of medical, nursing, public health, dental, biomedical and health information students.

Drinks and box lunches will be provided. The day will conclude at an awards dinner.
