Validation of a menstrual bleeding scale in women with bleeding disorders

This study aims to validate a new menstrual bleeding scale among women with bleeding disorders. 50 healthy subjects and 50 women with bleeding disorders will complete two scales for estimating menstrual blood loss during one menstrual cycle. Total menstrual fluid discharge and menstrual blood loss will be measured from collected tampons and pads during one menstrual cycle.

Subject Information:
14-50 years
Must be a female having regular periods every 26-32 days for the past 6 months. Must not be pregnant or using birth control hormones (pill, patch, hormone-secreting IUD, or vaginal ring) or intrauterine device.
