Houston, Tx
Jary M.Lesser, M.D.
Recent studies have shown that the rate of Alzheimers disease among the Hispanic people is higher when compared to Caucasian people. The number of Hispanic subjects taking part in Alzheimer disease clinical research studies continues to be low although the older Hispanic population is growing rapidly. This study will look at more directly the safety and benefit of Aricept in Hispanic subjects with mild to moderate Alzheimers disease. Subjects taking part will receive 5 or 10 mg of Aricept daily for 12 weeks.
